My mobile phone
Shehrin
3/22/2005

The most treasured possession in my life is my mobile phone. I have got a huge collection of mobile phones and I really crave for more. I find something missing in me when I do not have my mobile phone with me. It seems like I have got addicted to it. Wherever I go, the cell phone is always with me, even at the kitchen or at the toilet! I do not know why people, especially my dad, keeps on saying that I am getting spoiled and all, but that's for sure that for some reasons I find it very special and awesome, too.
I've got all the latest collection of mobile phone, especially of Nokia, Siemens and Samsung. I just crave for them like anything! I do have Panasonic and Lg as well, and the best part is that, I know all sorts of functions of each set of mobile phone. So, whenever my family members, friends or relatives face difficulty with their mobile phone sets, especially in searching for menus and some particular functions, they always come to me. Some of my friends and even my parents sometimes call me a "phone freak!!"
Although, it was my dad, who bought me the mobile phone and still buys for me, he doesn't want me to go around with a mobile phone fearing that I might be spoiled. Father never understands me and as a matter of fact we do at times exchange angry words. I don't like his being rude and mean with me because of the mobile phone. I just want him to understand that I really am into this mobile phone thing! I, mean, I really am.
On the other hand, my mom is very understanding in this case. Whenever, my dad gives me a penetrating glare, my mom is there always in my support. She tries her level best to make my dad understand and realise that the mobile phone is something which is really necessary and important for me, because most of the time I am out of my house and my family does not want to lose contact with me even for a single minute.
