Eastern Motors holds dealers' conference

          Eastern Motors Ltd, member of Uttara Group of Companies, held its annual dealers' conference 2004 at a city hotel recently.
A total of 68 dealers from across the country attended the conference.
President of Japan Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (JBCCI) and Director In-Charge of Eastern Motors Ltd Matiur Rahman presided over the conference.
Y Kimbara of Itochu Corporation of Japan attended the event as the chief guest. Yuichi Asaoka from Bridgestone Corporation of Japan and directors and high officials of Eastern Motors Ltd, Uttara Group of Companies and Itochu Corporation also attended the programme.
Speaking as the chief guest Y Kimbara praised the success of Eastern Motors Ltd in marketing Bridgestone tyre in Bangladesh over 54 years.
The annual incentives —crest, motor cycles, generators, Dhaka-Tokyo-Dhaka and Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka air tickets — were distributed among the dealers.
