A student of Stamford University (SU) was crushed under the wheels of a bus at Shatninagar in the city Thursday morning, reports UNB.
The victim was identified as Nazmul Hossain Rubel (18), son of Mohammad Bellal Hossain of Sutrapur area.
He was a first year BBA student of the SU.
Witnesses said, when Rubel was crossing the main road a Jatrabari bound bus from Airport road ran over him.
He was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
Rubel hailed from Ramganj of Laxmipur district.
Police seized the killer bus and arrested its driver Md Farid.
