Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki
10/19/2005

On STAR Plus Wednesday at 10:30 pm
Take a happy family, add a couple of bahus, a gullible sister-in-law, a mother-in-law who feels threatened by one of her bahus and is manipulated by the other - and what you have is Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, a story that could be as true to your life as to anyone else's.
Parvati is the older daughter-in-law of the Agrawal household and is married to Om. She is the ideal daughter-in-law - one who keeps everyone happy and strives to maintain harmony in the house.
Into this picture of bliss steps Pallavi, the woman engaged to the second brother, Ajay. The problem? Ajay has been having an affair with his boss' daughter and his boss threatens to ruin him if he does not marry his daughter. Ajay's engagement to Pallavi is broken off and Parvati suggests that Pallavi be married to Kamal, the third brother. The family is happy with this solution and agrees - but the marriage also sows the seed of hatred in Pallavi's heart. She now has one mission in life - to destroy the Agrawals.

On SONY Ent TV (SET) Wednesday at 11:00 pm
One of the longest running and the most popular shows on Sony Entertainment Television, CID has provided the TV viewer with a staple dose of investigative drama over the last seven years. Be it unraveling the mystery of a homicide or prevention of a high-tech bank robbery, CID has done it all. But what about the cases that couldn’t be solved and are gathering dust for years in the files of bureaucracy? What about the criminals still at large who couldn’t be brought to book? This is where ‘CID Special Bureau’ steps in.
‘CID Special Bureau’ is a show about a team of dedicated cops who specialise in solving dormant and unsolved cases using a mix of new age technology and classical investigative wisdom. A ‘spin off’, as the format is known in the West, ‘CID Special Bureau’ offers a different aspect of crime and investigation to the viewers of ‘CID’ who have been craving for more of their favourite show. The show takes an emotional approach to unsolved cases where the families of the victims are forced to go through the haunting agony of losing there loved ones and not getting justice. Their areas of expertise range from advanced forensic techniques such as ballistics, DNA testing, Carbon dating etc. to graphology and clinical psychology.
