Jatayatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), a front organisation of the ruling BNP organised a condolence meeting and brought out a silent procession Thursday on the Dhaka University (DU) campus to mark 19th death anniversaryits former General Secretary Mahbubul Haq Bablu.
The meeting was held at the foot of the Aprajeya Bangla. Later a silent procession was brought out that paraded through the campus.
JCD President Azizul Bari Helal attended the meeting as the chief guest. Among others, Senior Vice President Sultan Sallahuddin Toku, Mostofa khan, Aminul Islam Alim, Hyder Ali and Hasan Mamun addressed the meeting.
