Three players jointly leading in nat’l chess

          Three players - GM Ziaur Rahman, FM Rezaul Haque and FM Sk Nasir Ahmed -- are jointly leading in the Mercantile Bank 32nd National Chess Championship securing full two points after the second round matches at the chess federation hallroom Saturday, reports UNB.
In the day's 2nd round, Zia of Biman beat Syed Mahfuzur Rahman Emon of BJMC, Sk Nasir of Destiny 2000 beat Hasan Imam of Farashganj while Rezaul of Biman beat
IM Abdullah Al Rakib of Biman earned 1½ points after making a draw with GM Niaz Murshed of Leonine CC.
In the day's other matches, IM Enamul Hossain Razib of Muktijoddha SKC beat Delwar Hossain of Khulna, IM Reefat Bin Sattar of Biman beat Enayet Hossain of BJMC and FM Abu Sufian Shakil of Muktijoddha SKC beat FM Mehdi Hasan Parag of Biman.
