FE Report
3/15/2006

The Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) partners - Kempinski, Pan Pacific and Rydges include Omni Hotels as GHA's new, North American member.
Besides, GHA, celebrating its second anniversary this month, is also incorporating a company, to be based in Switzerland, from where it plans to expand its membership considerably over the coming months. GHA will continue to include selected hotel brands in the regions, not currently covered by the alliance.
To spearhead this expansion, GHA has appointed Chris Hartley, former senior vice president (sales and marketing) of Kempinski, as its CEO.
GHA now consists of 135 upscale and luxury hotels and resorts, spread over 22 different countries. Omni Hotels in North America, Kempinski Hotels and Resorts in Europe, Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts in the Pacific Rim and Rydges Hotels and Resorts in Australia and New Zealand.
