BBCC holds business dinner

          LONDON, Mar 31 (UNB): A networking dinner was organised by the Bangladesh-British Chamber of Commerce (BBCC) at a restaurant in Bangla Town last Wednesday.
Peter J Fowler, BBCC president, presided over the dinner while Dr Wali Tasar Uddin, Director General of BBCC welcomed the guests.
Dignitaries present were Ms Oona King, MP, Baroness Uddin, Bangladesh High Commissioner A H Mofazzal Karim, Monir Uddin Ahmed, Worshipful Mayor of London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Keith Best, Chief Executive, Immigration Advisory Service, Sheila Bailey, Chairperson, Prya Trust, and S B Faruk, London Regional president.
Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries agreed that Bangladeshis are making vital contributions to strengthening the British economy and British-Bangladesh ties.
The issues like immigration, education, transportation in London Borough of Tower Hamlets, housing, student fees, investment in Bangladesh and transfer of technology figured prominently at the discussion.
