Harun-ar-Rashed elected chairman of IBBL board

          Kazi Harun-ar-Rashed has been elected chairman of the board of directors of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL), said a press release.
However, Musa'ad Abdullah Al Rajhi, representative of Arabsas Travel and Tourist Agency, KSA and Zainul Abedin were reelected vice-chairmen of the board.
The Executive Committee of the Bank has been reconstituted with Mominul Islam Patwary as its Chairman.
Other members of the committee are Md Shahidul Islam, Md Fayekuzzaman, Representative of ICB Assets Management Company Ltd, Md Shamsul Huda, Muharnmad Dawood Khan, Mohammad Fouad Al-Khateeb of KSA and AKMS Islam, Representative of Bangladesh Islamic Centre.
The election was held at the meeting of newly constituted Board of Directors of the Bank presided over by Nazir Ahmed, outgoing Chairman of the Bank.
Later Kazi Harun-ar-Rashed presided over the meeting of the Board Friday at the boardroom of the Bank.
