Japanese heat insulating goods to hit local market in Oct
FE Report
9/18/2005

An agency will market heat insulating materials in Bangladesh produced in Japan, said a press release.
The materials can be used for insulation of industries, building, tin-shed structures and places where heat and cold need to be protected.
The products will hit the market in October this year. A company named Japan-Bangladesh Group will market the materials in the local market that is exclusive agent for marketing the same also in India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Japan-Bangladesh Group Chairman Salim Prodhan told this at a press conference Saturday in the city. Yoshito Igarashi, Takayuki Fujita and Kiyohara Ito attended the press conference.
Salim Prodhan said the materials are suitable for use in rooms, office ceiling and tin-shed structures that maintain room temperature at a desired level, which is not too hot or cold.
He said the materials are waterproof, rustproof and long lasting. An enterprise that uses 20-tonne capacity AC will be able to save considerable energy if it sets up heat insulating tools, he added.
