International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF), an initiative of Heir to the British throne Prince Charles, through its Youth Business International (YBI), has reached an agreement with Dhaka-based Mystic People Foundation to develop its highly successful scheme to support young entrepreneurs in Bangladesh. The scheme called the Bangladesh Youth Enterprise Advice and Help Centre (B Yeah), to be located at the Mystic People Foundation office in Mystic Group headquarters at Dhanmondi in the city, originating from a programme initially developed in the UK in the 1980s, is now in over 30 countries worldwide, including developed countries, such as the UK, Australia, Canada and France, and developing countries like Brazil, India, China, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. Uniquely, in supporting young would-be entrepreneurs, the scheme offers access to advantageous loan facilities, and recruits individual mentors from within the business community as support, on a one to one basis, for young business persons. IBLF, membership of which includes many of the world's leading businesses, attracts their support not least because such business leaders feel that encouraging their executives to volunteer for such a role is as important a part of the skill development of their staff, as helping to create the "Bill Gates and Sabur Khans of tomorrow", says B Yeah Programme Manager Xulhaz Mannan.
