Fifteen persons were killed and many others injured in separate incidents in different places of the country during the last two days, report agencies. In Sylhet, a motorcyclist was killed and his friend injured seriously in a road accident in front of a market in Jaintapur Upazila Saturday evening. In Habiganj, a woman was killed and 30 other people were injured in a road accident near Aushkandi in Nabiganj Upazila on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway Saturday. In Nilphamari, a housewife allegedly committed suicide at Sanglashi union in Sadar Upazila. In Chandpur, a minor girl died in Faridganj Upazila here after days seven taking anti-measles vaccine. The deceased was identified as Ruma (8), daughter of Ruhul Amin Mollah of Char Sakna village of the Upazila. In Feni, a labourer was killed and two others were injured critically as the century old Daudpur Bridge collapsed in the town today (Sunday) while the work on demolishing the bridge was going on. In Habiganj, a day-labourer was killed and two others were injured seriously when a tree fell on them at Chanpur tea garden in Chunarughat Upazila Saturday. In Brahmanbaria, two people were killed and 50 others were injured in a bloody clash between two groups of people of two neighbouring villages in Sadar Upazila Sunday. In Lalmonirhat, two minor children were burnt to death at Kadama village in Hatibandha Upazila here Saturday. The deceased were identified as Rozina (7) and Anjuara (8). In Joypurhat, two potato traders were killed in a road accident on the Punot-Solasgari road at Kalai Upazila in Joypurhat. In Jessore, Kotwali Thana police have recovered the body of a woman from Matir Hat area under Narendrapur union in Jessore Sunday. In Narayanganj, a cloth trader was stabbed to death by an assailant near Fatullah Launch ghat under Fatullah police station Sunday. In Pabna, unknown terrorists slaughtered a young man at Joytigari Beel of Faridpur Upazila Saturday night.
