Changes in closing prices of BSC, Padma oil

          The closing prices of Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) and Padma Oil Company Limited have been reset at the current market price prevailing in other exchanges. The new closing price of BSC and Padma Oil is Tk 350 and Tk 485 respectively.
Spot mkt trading of Petro Synthetic
Spot market trading of Petro Synthetic Limited will be held from today (Monday) to September 19 next as the book-closure of the company will start from September 22, 2005.
Prime Bank director to sell 5,000 shares
GQ Ball Pen Industries Limited, one of the corporate directors of the Prime Bank Limited, will sell 5,000 shares of the bank at the prevailing market price through the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) within the next 30 working days.
Upgrading of City Bank shares
The City Bank Limited has been upgraded to 'A' category from existing 'Z' category. The new upgrading of the bank has been effected from Sunday following its disbursement of dividend as declared in the last annual general meeting (AGM).
Downgrading of Lexco shares
Lexco Limited has been placed in 'Z' category from existing 'B' category. It has been effected from Sunday as the company did not declare any dividend Thursday in the annual general meeting (AGM).
Sale confirmation of Prime Bank shares
Khushe Akhter, one of the sponsors of the Prime Bank Limited, has sold 9,998 shares of the bank through the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) as announced earlier.
