RANGPUR, Jan 29 (UNB): Police unearthed a fake fertiliser factory at Ekbar Moddhyapara village in Mithapukur Upazila here and arrested a man in this connection Wednesday.
Acting on a secret information, a squad of police led by the UNO raided the village and arrested Nazmul Islam along with 300 sacks of fake TSP fertiliser.
Police said he was engaged in manufacturing adulterated fertiliser for long and supplying those to local markets.
A case was filed in this connection.
