Herbal medicine traders running brisk business
Our Correspondent

RANGPUR, Jan 29: The herbal medicine traders are continuing brisk business by duping ignorant people, especially in the district's rural areas.
Village folks being ignorant and lacking awareness buy herbal medicine from local herbalists and curers. Among them are unscrupulous elements who draw the illiterate people's attention by exaggerated words and false success-stories.
These cheat-vendors convince the people to buy different kinds of tablets, sweetmeat, oil and ointment, which they claim will cure almost every disease. As a result, the poor villagers become victims of this charade and chicanery.
