The Food and Disaster Management Ministry has taken up its annual development programme (ADP) with nine projects involving Tk 1.0116 billion (Tk 101.16 crore) for the current fiscal year.
It was disclosed at a review and monitoring meeting at the conference room of the ministry in the city Wednesday.
Food and Disaster Management Minister Kamal Ibne Yousuf was in the chair, reports BDNEWS.
The projects include comprehensive disaster management programme, setting up of 40-foot-long bridge on the roads built under food for work programme, installation of weight measuring machines at different food departments and setting up of disaster shelter centres in south-western part of the country.
