The leaders of Left Democratic Front (LDF) at a protest meeting Wednesday said prison should be the true destination for Ershad who had grabbed power in 1982 and continued looting the country until his ouster, reports BDNEWS.
The man (Ershad) is moving freely as different vested quarters used him for their own petty interests, they told the rally arranged in protest against the attack on CPB office and its leaders by Ershad-led Jatiya Party activists.
The meeting at Muktangan was addressed by M Shah Alam, Nurul Hasan, Dilip Barua, Zakir Hossain, Kartik Chakrabarty and Masum Uddin with Ruhin Hossain Prince in the chair.
