A 'Financing and Programme Agreement' was signed Thursday between the government and the KfVV (Kreditanstalt fur Wiederaufbau) of Germany for implementation of 'Renewable Energy/ Solar Homes System' project. The project will be implemented through Infrastructure Development Company Limited. Under the agreement, the Bangladesh government will receive Euro 16.5 million equivalent to Tk 1.32 billion (132 crore) in grants from the government of Germany. — BSS
