12/25/2005

The four human rights organisations included Bangladesh Network on Small Arms (BANSA), Bangladesh Development Partnership Centre (BDPC), Nari O Manabadhikar Foundation (NAMAF) and Bangladesh Coalition for Child Rights (BCCR) have urged the government to crack down on the fanatics, the bombers and the gun traffickers and bring them to justice as soon as possible, reports BDNEWS.
They formed a human chain Saturday in front of the National Museum for realisation of their demand of adoption and implementation of the United Nations Plan of Action on Small Arms (control).
Among others, representatives of Nari Pokkho, Ain O Salish Kendro and Bangladesh Mahila Parishad participated in the human chain programme along with the four human rights organisation.
