Shamim Ahmad of the United News of India (UNI) and Qadir Kallol of the BBC have been elected President and General Secretary of the Overseas Correspondents Association Bangladesh (OCAB) respectively for the year 2006, reports UNB.
According to an OCAB announcement, the elections were held at the National Press Club in the city Saturday following annual general meeting of the association of Dhaka-based journalists representing foreign media.
