Gaibandha, Ranghamati, Stkhira, Tangail, Manikganj, Bagerhat and BKSP moved to the zonal final of the JFA Cup Under-16 Football Tournament at the seven different venues Sunday.
Mahmudul Kabir netted all the four goals of Gaibandha including a hattrick at the Gaibandha stadium. Muktar reduced the margin for Panchagarh.
Gaibandha face Thakurgaon in the zonal final Tuesday.
Ranghamati outplayed Khagrachari 3-0 at the Ranghamati Stadium. Gano Chakma netted two and Vanu Marma scored one goal. They face Chittagong in the zonal final Tuesday.
Satkhira beat Jessore Education Board 2-1 at the Satkhira Stadium. Shahabuddin netted two goals for the winners while kamal Hossain scored the lone goal for the Education Board. Satkhira face Jhenidah in the zonal final Tuesday.
Tangail defeated Kishorganj 6-1 at the Tangail Stadium. Shariful Islam netted two and Mir Sabbir, rafiq, Atiqul and maruf Khan scored one goal each for the winners.
Monem Khan scored the solidarity goal for Kishorganj. Tangail face Gazipur in the zonal final Tuesday.
Manikganj outplayed Faridpur 2-1 at the Manikganj Stadium. Abir and Pintu netted one goal each for the winners. Mosharraf Hossain scored the only goal for Faridpur. Manikganj face Dhaka in the zonal final Tuesday.
Bagerhat beat Narail 4-0 at the Bagerhat Stadium. Mainuddin and Tanvir Ahmed netted two goals each for the winners. They face Khulna in the zonal final Tuesday.
BKSP outplayed Nilphamari by a solitary goal at the Kurigram Stadium. Mazahar Uddin netted the valuable goal for the winners. BKSP face the winners of the match between Bogra and Kurigram in the zonal final Wednesday, reports BDNEWS.
