Michael Owen will be hoping for a festive welcome when he returns to Anfield with Newcastle Monday. Liverpool's game with the Magpies is the pick of a full Boxing Day Premiership programme. Owen will be making his first appearance at Anfield since leaving the Reds for Real Madrid in August 2004. The 26-year-old England forward was hoping to rejoin Liverpool this summer, but the Magpies' bid of £17m secured his services. Also sure of the red carpet treatment will be West Brom manager Bryan Robson, who takes his side to Old Trafford for their game with Manchester United, reports BBC. Robson spent over 12 years at Manchester United - many of them as skipper - and was a huge favourite with the club's fans. However, he will be hoping those supporters will go home disappointed as his Baggies side are desperate for a result, lying only three points above the relegation zone. But United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has had a miserable 2005 and will be looking for some Christmas cheer. It has been 12 months Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp is unlikely to forget in a hurry. Just over a year ago he raised eyebrows across the country by taking over at Southampton, just over two weeks after he walked out on Pompey. Earlier this month he again caused an even bigger stir by leaving Saints to make the return journey back to Fratton Park.
