Palestine PM calls on Khaleda Zia

          MECCA, Dec 8 (BSS): Prime Minister Khaleda Zia and Palestine Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei, now attending the third extraordinary Islamic Summit here, have expressed identical views on establishing lasting peace in the Middle East.
They were discussing the Middle East situation when Ahmed Qurei called on Khaleda Zia on the sideline of the summit at Al- Safa Palace.
During the discussion, the two leaders stressed the need for strengthening the 57-member OIC and projecting the beauty of Islamic tolerance to enable the OIC face the challenges confronting the Muslim Ummah.
Qurei briefed Khaleda Zia about the latest development of the peace process in the Middle East.
