Bahrain keen to import garments, handicrafts from Bangladesh

          Bahrain is interested to import Bangladeshi products like pharmaceuticals, melamine, garments and textiles, batteries and handicrafts, reports BSS.
Commerce and Industry Minister of Bahrain Dr. Hasan Fakhro evinced keen interest in these Bangladeshi products when he visited the Bangladesh stalls at the 10th Trade Fair of Islamic Countries.
The Export Promotion Bureau of Bangladesh and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Bangladesh Embassy in Bahrain organised the fair, a foreign office press release said here Saturday.
Prime Minister of Bahrain Sheikh Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa inaugurated the five-day 10th Islamic Trade Exhibition.
He also inaugurated the three-day 11th Private Sector Meeting for Islamic countries on February 5 in the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre.
