Entrepreneurs should come forward to avail themselves of the opportunities created by the present government for rapid industrialisation of the country.
State Minister for Finance and Planning Shah Mohammad Abul Hossain said this while inaugurating as the chief guest the Supreme Agro Feeds Limited, a joint venture project under the Equity Entrepreneurship Fund (EEF) provided by the government through the Bangladesh Bank, at Kashimpur in Gazipur Wednesday.
Supreme Agro Feeds Limited Chairman Manzoor-ul Karim gave the address of welcome on the occasion.
Among others, Shams Group Chairman Mohammad Shams-ul Haque, Executive Director Faizur Rahman Chaudhury and a large number of Agro Feeds dealers, Agro Khamar owners and leading businessmen were present in the inaugural function.
The state minister praised the initiative taken by the persons involved in formulating and implementing a project for production of quality poultry and fish feed for which the annual demand in the country is more than seven million tonnes.
The EEF has been provided by the present government to accelerate the growth of industries particularly in the agro-based sector, he added.
