Bad weather dampens Nestle sales
2/25/2005

A combination of bad weather, rising raw material costs and the sluggish European economy has hit sales at Swiss confectionary giant Nestle. Revenue dipped 1.4 per cent to 86.7 billion Swiss francs ($74.6 billion) in 2004 as sales of ice cream and mineral water were dampened by the wet summer. —BBC Online
