Citibank opens new country processing centre

          Citibank, N.A. Bangladesh inaugurated its state-of-the-art country-processing center Thursday to better serve its customers in Bangladesh.
With the opening of its processing center, Citibank also relocated its Motijheel Branch to the new premises.
Judith A Chammas, Charge d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Bangladesh, formally inaugurated both the relocated branch and the country processing center in presence of Mamun Rashid, Citigroup Country Officer- Bangladesh, dignitaries and other valued customers of Citibank.
This center with separate processing units aims to better suit its customer's needs more efficiently with the full range of world class corporate banking services.
Judith A Chammas mentioned in her speech, "Citibank has already created a strong footprint and a respectable customer service model in Bangladesh over the last 10 years. It has not only contributed to the country's financial sector but has also played a key role in community building especially in the area of education and micro credit through its different community programmes."
