BAGERHAT, Mar 10 (UNB): A magistrate court here Wednesday asked the government to produce four top Islamic militants, including JMB supremo Shaekh Abdur Rahman and its second-in-command Siddiqul Islam alias Bangla Bhai, before it Monday (Mar 13). Magistrate First Class Md Sabur Hossain passed the order after Bagerhat police had sought the court's permission to show Shaekh Abdur Rahman, Bangla Bhai and their cohorts Hasan Ali Mullah and Hafez Mahmud arrested in the case of the August 17 serial bombings in the district. On Thursday, arrest warrants were sent to Sylhet, Mymensingh and Dhaka jails through Begerhat jail against those militant leaders after Shaekh Rahman was arrested from Sylhet, Bangla Bhai from Mymensingh and Hasan Ali Mullah and Hafez Mahmud from Dhaka. An official in Bagerhat jail said they have already sent the arrest warrants following the court orders.
