The 14-party opposition combine has taken massive preparations ahead of their laying siege to the Election Commission (EC) office in Dhaka and district election offices today (Sunday), reports BDNEWS. As part of the central programme, the leaders and activists of the 14-party will gather in the IDB Bhaban premises at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhanmondi Kalabagan ground and Rasel Square before they begin their march towards the EC office in processions. AL sources said that the party had taken all out preparations to gather one lakh people on the day. The programme will be held to demand removal of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) and two election commissioners, electoral roll as per the directives of the court and to protest against what they said the scheme of holding an election according to the government blue-print. To make the programme a success a preparatory meeting of the city 14-party combine was held at the AL office at the Bangabandhu Avenue on Saturday in the capital.
