Hanif to undergo angioplasty in Bangkok today

          Former Dhaka City Mayor, Mohammad Hanif, who has been suffering from acute cardiac problems, undergoes an angioplasty at Bomroongrad Hospital in Bangkok today (Friday), reports BSS.
A medical board led by senior cardiologist Dr Aram decided Thursday afternoon to carry out the operation on Hanif as his condition has improved relatively. He had been in coma for 18 days.
Hanif, who is also the Dhaka City Awami League president, admitted into the hospital, following brain hemorrhage while addressing a 14-party opposition combine's rally at Muktangaon in the city on February 8.
Mohammad Sayeed Khokan, son of the former mayor, has sought countrymen's 'doa' (blessings) for his father's early recovery.
