The Croma Decorators' Meet, a gathering of decorators from the Chittagong region, was hosted by Nilkamal Padma Plastics (Pvt) Ltd at the port city recently, sources said.
The participating decorators had an open and lively exchange of ideas with the management of Nilkamal. They discussed the economic welfare of the decorators and various other initiatives to develop the decorators' business sector.
The Nilkamal management also introduced a specialised business development package for the decorators that would be supervised through a local NGO. The new scheme generated a lot of enthusiasm among the participants who appreciated the new initiative and saw it as a boon for business in future.
It may be mentioned that Nilkamal Padma Plastics (Pvt) Ltd is a joint venture between Alvee Holdings (Pvt) Ltd of Bangladesh and Nilkamal Plastics Ltd of India.
The programme was rounded off by an attractive raffle draw followed by dinner.
