Selima Ahmad elected BWCCI president

          Selima Ahmad, Sangita Ahmed and Selina Quader have been elected president, senior vice president and vice president of Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI) respectively.
The election was held at the fifth annual general meeting (AGM) of BWCCI at Nitol Centre at Mohakhali in the city.
Nazme Ara Husain was elected the treasurer. The newly elected 10 members of the executive committee are: Anjum Salahuddin, Nazma Ahmed, Zinat Fatima, Shahela Khandker, Afreen Faruque, Khadizah Rahman, Shahnaz Perveen Chowdhury, Syeda Jahanara Waheed, Sharifun Nahar and Rezwana Akhter Habib.
Another news adds: Two members of BWCCI, Zinat Fatima and Kona Reza, received DCCI Business Award, 2005 as the most innovative entrepreneur and the best woman entrepreneur respectively.
A total of nine SME men and women from all over the country were selected for the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) awards.
