DCC to develop four more graveyards

          Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) will develop four new graveyards in the capital on 148.28 acres of land under 'Mahanagar Graveyard Project' at an estimated cost of Tk 2.24 billion (224.39 crore). DCC sources said the four graveyards would be developed near the Hazaribag flood control embankment in Lalbagh and Hazaribag Thana, in the areas behind the Mirpur Zoo, Aftabnagar triangle under Badda Thana and Saidabad-Matuail area under Demra. At present, there are four graveyards in the capital under the DCC management. — BSS
