India, EU talk on trade, security partnership
2/25/2005

NEW DELHI, Feb 24 (AFP): India and the European Union began two-days of talks here Thursday to draw up a strategic partnership in trade and security ties between the world's richest economic block and one of its fastest growing nations.
The EU already has such partnerships with the United States, Canada, China, Russia and Japan and wants India to join by the sixth India-EU Summit to be held in New Delhi in September, Indian officials said.
