FE Report
4/7/2005

Alliance TG-SUPPLY Limited has recently launched their e-marketplace, a web portal aiming to bring the country's readymade garments (RMG) sector and European buyers in one platform.
Danish Ambassador in Bangladesh Niels Severin Munk inaugurated the website for TG-Supply at a city hotel.
Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) President Annisul Huq, present as the guest of honour, termed to the e-marketplace of TG-SUPPLY a timely initiative in the post multi-fibre arrangement (MFA) era. "We are looking forward to the product as it will immensely benefit the RMG sector," hesaid.
Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) President Md Fazlul Hoque said being a buyer-driven e-marketplace, it is very important to ensure that all buyers who are subscribed members of the website are genuine. He also described the web portal, first of its kind in South Asia, as a pioneer.
Alliance TG-SUPPLY Limited (ATGSL), a Danish-Bangla joint venture between Alliance Holdings Limited of Bangladesh and Intraxite of Denmark, is hopeful of maintaining the ratio between buyers and sellers at 1:4 through the website.
Intraxite Managing Direc-tor Tom H Vejno gave a presentation at the inauguration ceremony on the website.
Bangladesh-Denmark Business Forum President Per Heisselberg, Regional Direc-tor of Asia of Alliance TG-SUPPLY Lars Burkal and President and CEO of Alliance TG-SUPPLY Adnan Anwar also spoke on the occasion.
