Orion Laboratories Ltd held its annual marketing and sales conference, 2005 in the city recently.
Orion Laboratories Executive Director Mohammad Ebadul Karim inaugurated the conference while Orion Group Managing Director M Obaidul Karim awarded the top performers of the sales team in 2004.
About 600 field representatives of the company along with its high officials attended the conference.
The company launched 25 new medicines including 15 life saving injections in 2004. Of them some were introduced for the first time in Bangladesh including the latest anti-blood cancer product.
