Puerta knocks out top seed Moya
2/25/2005

LONDON, Feb 24 (Reuters): Argentina's Mariano Puerta knocked out top seed Carlos Moya for the second successive tournament, beating the Spaniard 4-6 6-3 6-4 in the second round of the $643,000 Abierto Mexicano tournament in Acapulco Wednesday.
Moya was also the top seed when he slumped to a 7-6 6-3 defeat by the unseeded Puerta in the quarter-finals of the Buenos Aires Open two weeks ago.
The Spaniard won the first of his 18 ATP singles titles in Buenos Aires 10 years ago. Puerta has not lifted a trophy since Bogota in 2000.
