Shishu Kishore Sangha defeated Victoria Sporting Club 3-1 in the Green Delta First Division Hockey League at the Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium Thursday, reports UNB.
The first half was locked 1-1.
Shisu Kishore Sangha went ahead with a field goal by Moniruzzaman in the 18th minute. Ujjal converted a penalty corner to restore parity for Victoria SC in the 28th minute.
After the breather, Jahangir made the score 2-1 for the winners in the 36th minute with a field goal while Salam extended the margin in the 69th minute.
Earlier, the day's first match between Mukta Bihanga Tarun Sangha and Combined Sporting Club ended in a goalless draw at the same venue.
