Jubo League calls 8-hr countrywide hartal for today
3/13/2006

Awami Jubo League, the youth front of AL, observes 6.0am to 2.0pm hartal across the country today, reports UNB.
The hartal was called to protest the killing of Jubo League leader Hazi Masudur Rahman Iman by RAB, crises of fertiliser, fuel and electricity and to demand arrest of the ministers and MPs who patronised and harboured the JMB militants.
Khulna was, however, exempted from hartal in support of the `Halt Khulna' programme of Khulna Unnayan Sangram Samannaya Committee.
