BANDARBAN, Mar 12: A joint force of Army and BDR netted a cache of sophisticated weapons, including 10 rockets, from a den of "terrorists" in Naikhangchhari Upazila of the hill district Sunday morning. The team, led by 40 Rifles Battalion Commander Lt Col Abdul Awal, dug out the rockets, arms and ammunition from the den of terrors in Dolujhiri area. According to army sources, they seized about 8,000 rounds of bullet of AK-47 rifle, 10 40mm rockets, one antipersonnel mine, hand-grenade, swing machine, three detonator housings, 100 detonator devices, two 40mm rocket kits, six 7.50mm SMG-cleaning kits, two foreign-made revolvers, eight 9mm SMG magazines, one LMG and two machinegun barrels. —UNB
