The delegation will visit Bangladesh until March 16, said a press statement of the Delegation of the European Commission.

With the EU constitution of the largest trading partner of Bangladesh and the largest furnisher of development aid, the meeting will provide a valuable opportunity to take stock of progress in all areas of EC-Bangladesh co-operation and map out areas for further engagement.
Trade and trade-related assistance, human rights and governance will feature heavily on the agenda.
Jouanjean will also undertake meetings with key political figures in order to discuss wide range of important issues, including the forthcoming parliamentary elections, the fight against terrorism and human rights.
