Uplift work of 35.5km road progressing fast

          COMILLA, Oct 17 (UNB): Development work of the 35.5 kilometre Shah Fakhruddin road is progressing fast in Chouddagram Upazila at a cost of Tk 1.1 million (11 lakh).
Local lawmaker Syed Abdullah M Taher inaugurated the renovation work at a function Sunday. The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) is implementing the project.
Chaired by local Kalikapur Union Parishad chairman Ruhul Amin, the function was attended, among others, by LGED Executive Engineer Shafiqul Islam, UNO M Selim Reza and political leaders.
With the completion of the project, people of 10 unions of the upazila will be benefited.
