Tk 1.2b German grant to implement HNPSP, rural dev

          Germany will provide 15 million Euro, equivalent to about Tk 1.2 billion (120 crore) as a grant for implementing Health Nutrition Population Sector Programme (HNPSP) and rural development programmes, officials said in the city Monday.
They told the BSS that a bilateral agreement titled 'Financial
Cooperation Agreement-2003' will be signed between the Bangladesh and German Governments on October 19 at the National Economic Council (NEC) Bhaban in the city.
Economic Relations Division (ERD) Joint Secretary Mohammad Safiqul Rahman and Garman Charge d' Affaires in Bangladesh Holger Fraider will ink the agreement for their respective sides.
Among 15 million Euro, 10 Million will be provided for health development sector and five million Euro will be for income generation projects in rural areas.
