British American Tobacco (BAT) Bangladesh was one of the recipients of the "Best IT User" award given on the occasion of the BASIS SoftExpo-2005.
Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), in collaboration with Dutch Bangla Bank Ltd, organised the National SoftExpo-2005 in the capital from November 27 to December 1. Eleven companies were adjudged the "Best IT Users" for their commitment to the ICT sector as well as to make the best use of locally developed software solutions.
Commerce Minister Altaf Hossain Chowdhury presented the award as the chief guest. BAT Bangladesh Deputy Managing Director Golam Mainuddin received the award on behalf of the company.
