Hasina returns home April 6
4/1/2005

Awami League chief and Leader of the Opposition Sheikh Hasina leaves the United States today (Friday) for Manila via London, reports UNB.
She will attend a meeting of the Association of Asian Parliamentarians for Peace (AAPP) in Manila on April 4-5 before coming back home, said Saber Hossain Chowdhury, political secretary to the AL president.
Sheikh Hasina, the former Prime Minister, is the founder-president of the AAPP.
Another source said that during her stay in Manila, Hasina would meet former Philippine President Fidel Ramos.
She is expected to return home on April 6.
Hasina left Dhaka for Spain on March 7 to attend an international conference in Madrid.
From Spain she went to Florida for treatment of her hearing complications caused by the August 21 grenade attack.
